Wooden Puzzle

With this program, the student assembles the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. When all the pieces are placed, a colorful animation appears.

There are ten levels of this program. Level 1 has one piece to be moved into its correct position. Level 2 has two pieces, level 3 has three, and so on to Level 10.

This program is provided with four mouse options to put the pieces into their positions. The mouse options are arranged so that the student can gradually learn how to solve the puzzle.

This whole program is linked with background music to keep the student in a relaxed mood.

Mouse Options

1. Bring Mouse to Move
The student moves the mouse pointer over a piece. When the mouse pointer touches the piece, the piece moves automatically to its correct position.
2. Click to Move
The student moves the mouse pointer over a piece and then clicks on it. The piece then moves automatically to its correct position.
3. Numbered Pieces. Click, Move, and Click to Drop
Here, the pieces and their positions are numbered. The student clicks on a piece, moves the mouse pointer to the piece’s numbered position, and then clicks to drop it.
4. Click, Move, and Click to Drop
Here the student clicks on the piece, moves the mouse pointer to the piece’s correct position, and then clicks to drop it.
NOTEThe student must wait for the click sound before moving another puzzle piece. If the student does not wait, the puzzle piece will not fall into the place.

Mouse Pointers

There are six animated mouse pointers placed under mouse option box. The first one (pointing finger) is the default. The other mouse pointers are a bee, a butterfly, a teddy bear, a sun, and a bird. The student can choose any of these mouse pointers by clicking on it.
